Our Manchester United fans here in the Transfer Tavern think they’ve got a very good chance of winning the Europa League this season after last night’s victory.
It wasn’t the most exciting game in the world last night at Old Trafford but the Red Devils got the job done against Rostov to see them reach the quarter finals of the competition.
Indeed, they’ve been handed a very winnable tie against Anderlecht, too, and so the semi-finals could be in reach.
Plenty of games for United to still potentially play, then, and whilst Mourinho has been complaining about so many fixtures the likes of Roy Keane have been quick to criticise the Old Trafford boss.
Speaking to ITV Sport (via itv.com,) after the game the former midfielder suggested perhaps Mourinho couldn’t handle the job, and that the club was too big for him.
