Mourinho identifies next Man United target as spending continues

The international break has allowed the Manchester United fans in the Transfer Tavern to catch their breath in what has been a rather confusing season thus far.

Despite breaking world records during their lavish summer of spending, the Red Devils are yet to wholly convince under Jose Mourinho and remain some way off the pace in the Premier League title race.

So, reports from ESPN suggesting the self-proclaimed ‘Special One’ has already lined up another target have served as promising ones for the United fans propping up the bar.

They suggest the club are keeping close eyes on Burnley defender Michael Keane, who they let go from their ranks in 2014.

After progressing through their academy, former Old Trafford chief Louis van Gaal saw fit to let him go.

Since, he has proved mightily impressive for the Clarets and has even played his way into the England reckoning of late.

Chelsea are also thought to be keen on the 23-year-old, though the Lancashire outfit are said to be determined to keep a hold of a man they fought so hard to keep over the summer.

Would Keane be a good signing for United? Let us know below…
