Mourinho not keen on Man United man leaving despite surprise interest

Having watched Manchester United superstar Zlatan Ibrahimovic rescue a point for the Red Devils against bitter rivals Liverpool yesterday, the United fans in the Transfer Tavern are counting their lucky stars.

In truth, Jose Mourinho’s side were below par until the closing stages and once again turned to the Swede to put the ball in the back of the net when they needed him most. Clearly, the 35-year-old is one of the most important players at Old Trafford and has provided his side with so much already, though reports from the Sun today have provided some food for thought.

They’ve revealed that, as a result of not playing much thanks to Ibra’s form, England international Marcus Rashford is a shock target for La Liga side Sevilla. Los Nervionenses are known for their good work in the transfer market and love a good deal, so perhaps it’s little surprise to see them reportedly trying to work their magic once more.

The Spaniards are thought to have tracked the 19-year-old since he broke onto the scene little under a year ago and are believed to be keen on taking him on loan should he continue to struggle for game time at the Theatre of Dreams.

For his part, self-proclaimed ‘Special One’ is understood to be eager to keep the forward at United, much to the delight of our locals.

Does Rashford need a loan move? Let us know below…
