Juan Mata and Jose Mourinho isn’t exactly a Twilight style love affair, though even the punters in the Transfer Tavern were shocked by events yesterday.
Following the Spaniard’s introduction as a second half substitute in the Community Shield win over Leicester City, he was hauled off less than half an hour later.
The two have a reasonably chequered past at best, with the self-proclaimed ‘Special One’ having sold the 28-year old just six months into their time at Chelsea together.
Now, according to journalist Duncan Castles, the World Cup winner has been made available for sale by the Portuguese tactician.
Replying to a question on Twitter, the notable journalist claimed the La Roja ace is available for sale, though isn’t certain to leave.

He has previously been linked with a move across the North West to the upwardly ambitious Everton, though Castles has hinted convincing the player to leave Old Trafford could be difficult.
