Mourinho plots second Juventus raid after Pogba deal, £50m deal lined up

Ever since THAT pass for Italy against Belgium at EURO 2016, the punters in the Transfer Tavern have been dreaming about Italian central defender Leonardo Bonucci. 

The Azzurri ace has been strongly linked with moves to Chelsea and Manchester City, with both Antonio Conte and Pep Guardiola reportedly obsessed with bringing him to England.

Now, according to ESPN, Manchester United are keen on the 29-year old amid their blockbuster chase for Paul Pogba.

One of the most glamorous defenders in the game, he is said to have a mammoth valuation slapped on him by the Old Lady.

The dominant Serie A champions are believed to value their rock of Turin at around €60m, though the financial might of the Premier League could prove difficult to deal with.

The Red Devils have already landed Eric Bailly, though Mourinho is understood to still reserve doubts over his central defence, also being linked with a record-breaking deal for Everton defender John Stones.

Whether or not I bianconeri are open to the idea of selling yet another top star remains to be seen, though Bonucci is surely a man in demand this summer.
