Such is the nature of their improvement of late, the Manchester United supporters in the Transfer Tavern have been waxing lyrical about life under Jose Mourinho.
While the Red Devils remain somewhat off the pace in the Premier League title race, the self-proclaimed ‘Special One’ looks to have at least begun turning things around at Old Trafford.
There are a number of improved performers throughout the team, not least the defensive pairing of Marcos Rojo and Phil Jones.
The pair would have been laughed at when the campaign kicked off, though the United fans propping up the bar in the Tavern now can’t imagine where they’d be without them.
In fact, Rojo has been so impressive recently that even reports from the Daily Record cannot be seen as a surprise.
According to them, Mourinho has asked Rojo to snub any lucrative overtures he may receive from China and remain at the Theatre of Dreams.
It’s thought the 53-year-old WAS looking to sell the Argentine over the course of the summer, though snubbed any offers he had from the Far East.
Now, Mourinho is said to be aiming to convince the former Sporting Lisbon man to stay after he impressed with his best run of form in a United shirt.
