Naturally, the Transfer Tavern has been rather rife with rumours and reports surrounding Manchester United’s potential transfer activity ever since the arrival of Jose Mourinho as the club’s new boss.
The Red Devils propping up the bar don’t have to search long to find a plethora of weird and wonderful stories to do wit their beloved United, though a certain Paul Pobga appears to be grabbing the headlines the most.
However, according to the Daily Mirror, the buck doesn’t stop with just the Frenchman.
They claim the self-proclaimed ‘Special One’ has ordered his scouts to run the rule over West Ham United sensation Reece Oxford.
The 17-year old rose to prominence on the opening day of the season with an excellent performance against Arsenal and has emerged as one of the hottest properties in English football.
Reported to have snubbed a new deal in East London, the versatile defender will be the subject of a scouting mission as he represents England at the under-19 European Championships.
Will Reece Oxford prove to be worth the hype?
