Man United fans in the Football Transfer Tavern are having a few celebratory pints of TT Ale, and not just because it’s Premier League Eve! The Red Devils have finalised a crucial summer deal.
According to reports from the Telegraph, Man United youngster, Timothy Fosu-Mensah is set to sign a new four-year-deal with the club.
The 18-year-old made the move to Old Trafford from Ajax in 2014 and went on to make his debut at home against Arsenal in February this year.
Fellow graduates from the famed Carrington academy, Marcus Rashford and Cameron Borthwick-Jackson, have also recently signed new contracts, whilst Paddy McNair and Donald Love departed for Sunderland this week.
The Dutch youth international impressed in his 8 Premier League outings for the Red Devils last season, and has clearly done enough in pre-season to show Jose Mourinho that he can offer him something in the first team.
United fans, we want to hear from you! How glad are you Fosu-Mensah has signed a new deal? How often do you think he’ll start next season? Let us know below…
