Mourinho unlikely to stop Man United leaving this summer despite big money fee

Having watched their side dispose of champions Leicester City with relative ease yesterday, the Manchester United fans in the Transfer Tavern are once again hopeful their side can finish in the Top 4 under Jose Mourinho.

It’s been a mixed season for the Red Devils thus far, though they are currently on a strong unbeaten run in the Premier League and their summer business looks like paying off. Still, with Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Henrikh Mkhitaryan mightily impressing of late, reports from the Mirror today have caused concern.

They claim United forward Anthony Martial is ready to QUIT the Theatre of Dreams this summer and return to France for Paris Saint-Germain. The £58m man has struggled to replicate the sort of form that made him last season’s top scorer, often being hauled off in games by the Portuguese.

As a result, the 21-year-old is understood to feel as if he has been made a scapegoat for the team’s shortcomings this term and Les Parisians are believed to be keen on the idea of bringing him back to Ligue 1. Mourinho is reportedly unlikely to prevent the ex-Monaco ace from making a return, with our United fans unsure what to make of the idea of him leaving.

Martial is a hugely popular figure within the Tavern, though they do admit things have looked better without him this term.

Would United be stupid to sell Martial? Let us know below…
