Manchester United’s form in the Premier League last season was certainly a disappointment for the punters propping up the bar in the Transfer Tavern.
While Jose Mourinho managed to deliver both the League Cup and the Europa League in his maiden campaign in charge of the Red Devils, there’s no doubting the fact that much more is expected from them in the league next term.
So, the burgeoning partnership of Marcus Rashford and new £75m man Romelu Lukaky has excited our resident Red Devils. Last season, there was far too much of an over-reliance on Zlatan Ibrahimovic, so the idea of having two young and robust central attackers certainly is exciting.
With both Lukaku and Rashford impressing in the 2-0 pre-seaosn friendly win over rivals Manchester City, here’s how Twitter reacted.
Rashford + Lukaku, the new era of Cole + Yorke, don't you think so? #GGMU

So Lukaku and Rashford on the scoresheet, Pogba and Mikhy with the assists, the 4 most crucial players for us this season?

In 1999 Yorke and Cole hit 53 goals between them. Rashford and Lukaku doing the same would guarantee a great season.
