Manchester United have reverted back to winning late in style, as they have done against Newcastle, Bournemouth and now Juventus in recent weeks.
Jose Mourinho has once again pulled the important results out the back, causing pressure on him to cool.
The Portuguese boss always pulls out the results when most needed and now Manchester United look in a much better place to kick on and still launch a challenge for the top four.
Nevertheless, Mourinho still isn’t happy with his Manchester United team and new signings will surely be arriving in January.
The Red Devils have reportedly been scouting the 22-year-old in recent months and are impressed with their findings, so much so a deal could be conjured up in January.
So, what could this deal mean for Manchester United…
Despite in recent games, Mourinho being content with a partnership of Chris Smalling and Victor Lindelof, there is no doubt that the pair still look as if they’re a mistake waiting to happen.
With a confident 22-year-old brought in, who has played all 11 Serie A games so far and kept five clean sheets, Chris Smalling would be the likely candidate to miss out on a spot in the starting 11.
The start of players leaving
Jose Mourinho has not been found of many centre-backs at Manchester United this season and a move to sign Joachim Andersen could mean that any of Phil Jones, Eric Bailly or Marcus Rojo would leave the club.
