Manchester United are one of the most in-form teams in football right now and that’s all due to the resurgence they have found under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
The players are expressing themselves with freedom and look a completely different side to the one they were under Jose Mourinho.
Time will tell as to whether United are good enough to launch a late bid to get into the top four but they would need some help during the January transfer window in an attempt to try and do that.
Defending is still Manchester United’s big issue but that would all be solved if they went and brought a player like PSG’s Presnel Kimpembe for example.
Kimpembe, (who is valued at £27 million on Transfermarkt) is a World Cup winner and a player that would be an amazing capture for Manchester United.
Although the Frenchman is a fairly regular fixture in PSG’s backline, Manchester United could be the more attractive option especially with how they’re playing right now.
At the age of 23, Kimpembe has his whole career ahead of him and that could alternatively be spent helping to improve Manchester United and impressing at Old Trafford.
With 17 appearances to his name this season, it’s obvious to see that Presnel Kimpembe is well respected at PSG as a good and important player.
Yet at Manchester United, he could be the main man in defence, allowing the Red Devils to surge into a top-four spot.
It’s not as if Manchester United don’t have the money to splash out, so what better way to improve their team than by signing a quality centre-back who is already a winner.
