There’s not been an awful lot for the Rangers fans in the Transfer Tavern to shout about of late, such are the struggles at Ibrox since winning promotion to the top flight.
The Gers find themselves languishing in mid-table amid problems on and off the field in Glasgow, as the Joey Barton saga rumbles on for Mark Warburton.
Now, reports from the Daily Mirror have the Gers propping up the bar in an even darker mood.
They claim that the likes of Arsenal and Manchester United are aiming to lure academy prospect Billy Gilmour away from the club as he continues to thrill in the youth setup.
Chelsea and Manchester City are also understood to be keen on the 15-year-old midfielder, who is currently playing in the Victory Shield for the Tartan Army’s youth side.
