The daily 9am queue of Man United fans were on time again this morning at the doors of the Football Transfer Tavern, some even camped overnight, all eagerly waiting to hear from us as to whether or not Paul Pogba’s move is done. Well, we have some news, just not THAT news.
That’s right, surprise surprise! As another day dawns it is another day where the Frenchman is not a Man United player, yet. However, the Italian press (via Sport Witness) appear to be treating the deal as done.
The merry-go-round of will he, won’t he reports have dried up in Italy, some outlets didn’t even cover the move on Tuesday.
Those publications that chose to cover the move focused mainly on analysing the state of football and the money involved, or featured reflective pieces looking back at the 23-year-old’s time in Serie A.
Whilst the Italians are shying away from the move, across the rest of Europe the saga rumbles on. French journalist, Nabil Djellit tweeted last night that the midfielder was heading for New York for his medical, his tweet read;
“After #Miami, #LA and #Vegas, #Pogba flies to #NY… known for its skyscrapers for medical visits…”

However, to keep the bar staff and punters from getting ahead of themselves, our Landlord pointed out that the former United man has already supposedly been set for a medical in Los Angeles and is also reportedly on his way to Manchester already.
Man United fans, what do you make of all this? Let us know in the comments below! Our advice, sit down, get a couple pints of TT Ale in and wait for it all to be done, sound good?
