Manchester United: Paul Pogba unhappiness at Red Devils prompts outrage from supporters begging for transfer - Manchester United

According to a report from the Manchester Evening News, Red Devils midfielder Paul Pogba has told his Manchester United teammates that he wants to leave this summer, prompting an angry response from supporters who appear to be frustrated with the ongoing saga over his future.

Pogba, who re-signed for United back in 2016 for a then-record breaking transfer fee of £89.3 million, has accumulated 31 goals and 31 assists from midfield in 150 appearances for the club (Transfermarkt). However, despite flashes of impressive form showcasing his ability, the Frenchman has been missing for the majority of this season with an ankle injury – with reports now emerging that he is unhappy at the club and wants a move away.

Pogba’s transfer saga may also be heightened by the arrival of Portuguese playmaker Bruno Fernandes from Sporting Lisbon the January window, potentially injecting more creative influence and competition for the ex-Juventus midfielder if he wants to play regularly. Still, as per this Manchester Evening News report, Pogba appears to desire a transfer out of Old Trafford and on to pastures new.
