It was a strange afternoon for the Manchester United fans in the Transfer Tavern, who saw their game with Bournemouth at Old Trafford called off for security concerns.

They also saw noisy neighbours Manchester City all but end their hopes of reaching the Champions League next season by drawing 1-1 away at Swansea City on the final day.

Though Citizens have a seemingly insurmountable goal difference, meaning the FA Cup on Saturday is the only chance the Red Devils have of coming away from this season with something to shout about.

A controlled explosion was undertaken at the Theatre of Dreams this afternoon after a suspicious package was found prior to kickoff.

The package has been described as an ‘incredibly lifelike’ explosion device, though was later confirmed to be ‘not viable.’

Now, according to talkSPORT, the game with the Cherries has been rescheduled for  Tuesday night at 8pm.

How shocked were you that the game was called off?
