After the events of the Manchester derby, it’s fair to say that the United fans propping up the bar here in the Transfer Tavern aren’t too keen on Jose Mourinho right now. Indeed, while he’s won trophies for the club, he doesn’t seem to be a natural fit for a club like this.
What was evident during the loss to City was the lack of attacking creativity the Red Devils’ neighbours have flowing in abundance, a trait so often associated with United over the years. With that in mind, we’re reminded of a question posed by our Landlord a few days ago now.

Interestingly enough, 57% of polled fans still think the former Borussia Dortmund star should still have a future, though 43% reckon it’s time up for the 28-year-old.
So, he clearly retains support amongst the United faithful, though perhaps not as much as you might think.
