Revealed: Why Real Madrid pull out of £100m deal, colossal Man United switch expected

Paul Pogba’s name has been bandied about the Transfer Tavern no end in recent months, with the Manchester United supporting punters waxing poetic about just what the Frenchman could do when back at Old Trafford.

Since leaving the Red Devils in 2012, the 23-year old has gone on to establish himself as one of the best midfielder in the world, impressing the world over with his marauding efforts for Juventus.

However, it doesn’t appears as if everyone has quite been convinced.

According to Spanish outlet MarcaReal Madrid have pulled out of the stratospheric race to land the £100m rated superstar after failing to fall in love with his performances at EURO 2016.

With Los Blancos renowned for acting impulsively following a good tournament performance (see James Rodriguez in 2014), perhaps it speaks volumes about how United are being taken to the cleaners by the Old Lady.

Touted as the future of French football, the midfielder failed to wholly convince for Les Blues, being outshone by the likes of Dimitri Payet and Antoine Griezmann amid what proved to be a fruitless campaign.

The refusal in the Spanish capital to move for the Juventus star now sees his seismic move back to the Theatre of Dreams more expected than ever.
