While Jose Mourinho might not be a manager often associated with bringing through youth products, the Manchester United fans in the Transfer Tavern are proud of their beloved club’s history with it.
Indeed, though the Red Devils are one of few teams able to spend almost a hundred million pounds on a player, the punters propping up our bar are eager to see the club continue to churn out top level talents through their academy.
One of the most recent ones, Timothy Fosu-Mensah is another to be proud of his roots with the Red Devils, it seems. Having joined Crystal Palace on loan in order to aid his development and work with former manager Frank de Boer at Selhurst Park, the 19-year-old powerhouse has taken to Twitter to address United fans.
