Manchester United are quickly closing their gap on their top-four rivals as they look to return to Champions League football again next season.
Whilst currently in the competition, under Jose Mourinho, they faced the very real possibility of not making it again this time around due to their awful form.
Since “The Special One” was sacked though, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has given Manchester United’s fans the chance to dream of being in the best team competition yet again, after winning all seven of his games in charge thus far.
It may be possible that the club legend is backed financially in the transfer market this season as well, from which he could add extra quality which enhances their chances of reaching the top four.
A player that has been mentioned as a target for Manchester United is PSV’s exciting young winger – Steven Bergwijn.
Bergwijn, (who is valued at £27 million on Transfermarkt) has been in sensational form this season, notching up ten goals and nine assists in all competitions.
Knowing that, it’s no wonder why (as per the Sun) Manchester United would be keen to sign the Dutch international as he would obviously add even more quality to the final third of the pitch, keeping the likes of Marcus Rashford and Anthony Martial on their toes.
With all those top youngsters, Manchester United can be confident of continuing their unbelievable form through the rest of this campaign.
The 21-year-old has the ability to shift across the front-line, with the right attributes to play on the left-hand side, or the right.
