And, with every club’s aim to find the world’s biggest future talent, Manchester United may just have found themselves South America’s next big thing, as according to reports in the Mail Online, Manchester United have handed a trial to Colombian wonderkid Wilson Tilve.
The 16-year-old from Club Atletico Colombia de Cartagena visited United’s training complex at Carrington last week, ahead of a trial that could see Manchester United uncover a future star. The teen sensation operates in the midfield as an advanced player in the number ten role, and it’s safe to say that the locals all feel he has the potential to follow in the footsteps of one of Colombia’s most accomplished graduates, James Rodriguez.
For Mourinho to have already added three players to the United youth academy since taking over at the club, it’s clear to see that his intentions are to very much build for the long-term progression.
The teen sensation looks like he could have the potential to become one of South America’s newest stars, as Manchester United are at no loss for taking the Colombian on trial. For a team that’s given the opportunity to Scott McTominay and Angel Gomes already this season, welcoming another promising youngster can only go to bolster their academy ranks.
