Manchester United fans in the Transfer Tavern will be turning their focus towards the Manchester Derby with Manchester City on Sunday as they look to stall their city rival’s festivities for another week.
Jose Mourinho’s side will be looking to be more competitive next season, having fallen short in the Premier League and the Champions League, however, one of his youngsters is looking to make an impact in the Red Devils strip. Andreas Pereira has been impressing whilst on loan at Valencia, helping the La Liga side challenge for their own place in next year’s European competition and is keen on establishing a place in the first team at Old Trafford.
According to ESPN FC, the 22-year-old is looking to seek assurances from Mourinho about his immediate future to allow him to make a decision on whether another loan spell would be beneficial, having signed a new contract in September.
Man United fans in the Tavern have been impressed with his contributions at Valencia and would welcome him should he be given his opportunity, however, many of the locals believe another loan spell would benefit the youngster and help him break into the first-team in the future.
