The Football Transfer Tavern has been full of excited Man United fans today, as news has made it’s way to the bar staff that one of the most promising youngsters in world football is heading for Old Trafford.
According to Mexican website, Futbol Entre Lineas (via, Manchester Evening News), Pachua’s Hirving Lozano, who has been labelled ‘the next Messi’, is set to make the move to Old Trafford after competing at this summer’s Olympics, in Rio.
Speaking to Futbol Entre Lines, Lozano’s father-in-law said: “Yes. It’s all done, just missing some details and after the Olympics, the deal will become official.”
One of our bar staff was keen to point out that, according to the wizards at Football Manager, the 20-year-old has long been destined for the top.
According to MEN, United’s Chief Scout, the same man the brought fellow Mexican Javier Hernandez to Old Trafford, has been watching the winger for a long time.
