A group of Man United fans who have refused to leave the Football Transfer Tavern – even staying over night – in recent weeks waiting for confirmation on Pogba’s move are growing desperately tired of the whole saga, and quite frankly we’re growing tired of their smell, but still the story rumbles on.
The latest update on the whole debacle surrounding the French international has come via The Guardian. Reports are suggesting that Juventus have been told to up their bid yet again after submitting an improved offer of £92m.
The Red Devils, who are still in talks with the Italian champions, had tabled the £92m (€110m) fee after having agreed an £11m-a-year deal including bonuses with Pogba’s agent, Mino Raiola, but those at the Juventus Stadium want an extra €10m for the 23-year-old.
With the €94.7m deal to take Napoli striker, Gonzalo Higuain to Turin nearing completion it had appeared that the money from the sale of the central midfielder would be used to fund the deal for the Argentine. However, The Old Lady have told Old Trafford officials that this is not the case and that they can afford the deal regardless.
United fans, we want to hear from you! How much longer do you think this deal will take? Are you still confident Pogba will return this summer? Let us know below…
