Manchester United fans in the Tavern have ripped into midfielder Marouane Fellaini after Jose Mourinho stated the Belgian will be available for selection for the last couple of months of the season as the competition really hots up for United. The Red Devils are still fighting in three competitions, the Premier League, Champions League and FA Cup, however United fans are far from excited about the midfielders return.
Jose on @Fellaini: "He will be back to play again in a couple of weeks. If we proceed beyond Sevilla, I think he will be ready for the hypothetical quarter-final, and a hypothetical FA Cup semi-final, and the last couple of months of our Premier League fight." #MUFC pic.twitter.com/UnfCQPd98w

Fellaini signed for Manchester United back in 2013 under David Moyes for £29.16 million from Moyes former club Everton. Although since joining United, Fellaini has been ridiculed by the clubs fans almost every step of the way despite being a key figure under Moyes successor Louis Van Gaal.
Even under Mourinho, Fellaini has found himself given a key role in the Red Devils squad, being relied upon for his physical prowess and ability to ‘bully’ opposition midfielders. However the big Belgian has suffered a recurring knee problem this season which has seen him miss 15 league games this season. Fellaini’s most recent appearance was a short cameo against Spurs, in which he was introduced as a substitute in the second half before having to be hooked from the action just seven minutes later.
Despite Mourinho’s apparent faith in the £10.8 million player, as rated by the helpful team over at Transfermarkt, it seems his United days are numbered, however, if he can help force his side to some sort of silverware this season it could bring fans on Manchester United to appreciate the big Belgian’s contribution over the last five years.
