‘Troll Jurgen Klopp’ – Man United fans on Twitter very happy with today’s development

Our Manchester United fans here in the Transfer Tavern have all been huddled around the big screen in anticipation of the UCL draw made today.

Not since David Moyes’ only season in charge have United entered the last 16 of the Champions League. Under Louis Van Gaal, the Red Devils failed to progress from the group stages, much to our punters’ dismay. Considering the some of the runners-up in this year’s group stages, United can count themselves lucky not to have been drawn against one of the big boys according to our landlord.

Mourinho’s men host Sevilla, a team many of our local Mancunians will remember from the Liverpool match in recent weeks, producing an astonishing comeback after being 3-0 down at half time, to fight back and draw the match 3-3.

While United should be focused on the job in hand, many of our punters believe that they won’t want to replicate what happened to their rivals, Liverpool. Although Sevilla could be classed as an easier opponent, they currently sit fifth in La Liga and have a rich recent history in the Europa League.

Here’s how the United fans are reacting to the last 16 draw…
