Louis van Gaal finally talking sense after he slates Man United boss Mourinho – Agreed?

Our Manchester United fans here in the Transfer Tavern are reacting to the recent comments made by former boss Louis Van Gaal.

In a recent interview, the former United chief branded Jose Mourinho’s style as ‘boring football’. Despite our regulars, pundits and former players commending LVG’s time at United, he’s defended his two-year stint at the club along with his personal style of play, which, in his words, were ‘not appreciated in England’.

LVG won the FA Cup in his last game as United boss and brought Champions League football back to Old Trafford at the first time of asking, although, our landlord remembers they never made it out of the group stages. Still, many of our punters believe Van Gaal still has sour grapes over his departure, something in which he referred to in the same interview.

However, after the recent loss to Manchester City and some of the criticism Mourinho has received for his attitude in big games this season, perhaps van Gaal has a point. At least he, you know, performed at Anfield.

So, with that in mind, we’re asking Manchester United fans, do you think is LVG right in his comments?
