West Ham United submit fresh bid for 25-year-old Frenchman, other clubs interested too

Alexandre LacazetteWest Ham United are hopeful of bolstering their attacking options this summer and Lyon striker Alexandre Lacazette looks to be firmly in the club’s sights.

Our landlord here in the Transfer Tavern has spotted an article in the Daily Express, as sourced by Italian journalist Gianluca Di Marzio, which claims the Hammers have lodged a fresh bid of around £32.5 million for the Frenchman.

The French club look set to lose their star striker this summer and the East London-based club are desperate to add a stellar signing to their squad, ahead of their big move into the Olympic Stadium next season.

The 25-year-old has also been linked with moves to Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester United this summer and it remains to be seen where he will end up.

One West Ham fan is waiting for the Monday night football quiz to begin and he thinks the Lyon striker would be a superb addition to the squad, stating that he would improve the club’s current attacking arsenal.

West Ham fans, would you welcome Lacazette? Who else should the club look to try and sign?
