Manchester United fans in the Transfer Tavern have been left rubbing their eyes in disbelief this morning, after sensational reports emerged ahead of the summer transfer window.
Amidst persistent speculation regarding the futures of star-players like David De Gea and Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Spanish outlet Marca reports Jose Mourinho has made it clear he won’t stand in the way of any exit.
The report specifically states that De Gea, Ibrahimovic and Ander Herrera have all been made clear of the situation, with Mourinho tasked with setting asking prices for all the players within his squad should offers be made.
Whilst Mourinho is keen to keep his squad intact, the former Real Madrid boss won’t stand in the way of any player who makes it clear they want to leave Old Trafford – which increases the likelihood of De Gea sealing a summer move to the Santiago Bernabeu.
Speculation on De Gea’s future has persisted ever since the Spaniard saw a deadline day move in the summer transfer window of 2015 fall through and our landlord believes the highly-reported deal will finally go ahead this summer.
