Our Manchester United fans in the Transfer Tavern have had their bubbles burst, as Neymar’s father has quashed any rumours of a potential exit from the Spanish champions to Manchester United, as reported by the Daily Mail.
Neymar is renowned as one of the world’s most skilful players and would demand one of the biggest transfer fees of all time if United were to secure his signature.
It has been reported that after the Catalan giants rejected any offers for the Brazilian forward, the 23-year-old is now seeking an improved deal on his current terms after his move from Santos two years ago.
However Neymar’s father has recently addressed the media and has stated: ‘People can relax, Neymar is staying at Barcelona’ and that the club does not need to sit down with Neymar over a new potential deal as he still has three years on his current contract remaining.
Our United fans in the Transfer Tavern have been having a debate with the landlord whether or not Neymar could handle the physicality of the Premier League, if a move were to go through in the future!
