Mancini Joins Chase For £8million Rated Brazilian Wonderkid

ZezinhoManchester City have been closely linked with former Arsenal target Zezinho. The 18-year-old Brazilian midfielder joined Santos last January but after a string of impressive performances attracted interest from Italian giants Inter Milan who may be interested in making an offer in region of £8million.

The midfielder would probably only be used as a squad player at either City or Inter, but he is tipped to have massive potential. Arsene Wenger, a man with a nose for talent, had the player’s services whipped from beneath his nose last year when the Brazil U-17 International snubbed a move to the Emirates.

The Brazilian utility man can play anywhere on the left, whether it be wing-back or left midfield. He has also been known to play in the middle. He would be an excellent utility player to sit in for some of City’s senior players.

City have also been scouting Spartak Moskow’s highly-rated 18-year-old midfielder Jano Ananidze, in their crusade to secure the world’s top young talent.

Mancini will be looking to offload a few players in this transfer window. Felipe Caicedo, who has been on loan at Levante could head to German side Werder Bremen, the German club are looking for a possibly replacement for soon to be out-of-contract Hugo Almeida. Also, highly paid bench warmers, Sahaun Wright-Phillips and Wayne Bridge look set to leave the club in bids to find first team football.

With so many players leaving for the exit come January, City will certainly be looking for young players so come and fill the void. Expect a lot of movement from Eastlands come January.

Talking of exits. Do you remember Wayne Bridge’s missus and the whole John Terry saga? One thing I had forgotten was what she looked like. Makes you at least forgive John a little bit. Click on the image to view the gallery!
