The Times have certainly got Manchester City fans flocking around the bar here in the Football Transfer Tavern as they claim that the Citizens are finished with their summer spending.
The defending Premier League champions have been linked with a host of players and since the injury to Alvaro Negredo, have been heavily linked with a fair few forwards and also Isco.
Manuel Pellegrini worked well with the Spanish schemer during their time together at Malaga.
However, according to the Times, Pellegrini has been told that after the arrival of defender Eliaquim Mangala from Porto, he will not be adding anyone else to his squad, and will have to make do with the team that were good enough to lift the title last season.
As one of our punters notes, the club will also have Frank Lampard on loan for the first six months of the season and that is certainly something that Chelsea fans are not exactly too thrilled about!
