Things around West Ham United have started to look a little more positive for Manuel Pellegrini’s side in recent weeks.
Despite the defeat to Brighton and Hove Albion heading into the international break, the Hammers managed to put together a string of fine results and ease the pressure on the Chilean.
Victories against Manchester United and Everton, with a draw against Chelsea, managed to take away some of the early season tension from the London Stadium outfit and has given them a four-point gap between them and the bottom three.
The winger, who tore his Anterior Cruciate Ligament just days before the start of the World Cup with Argentina, has posted a video on Instagram showing him able to kick a ball for the first time since the summer.

Translated, he captioned the video with “It’s been a long wait to go back to touching my friend, now to continue”, with a hashtag stating “the best is yet to come”.
West Ham fans will be delighted to see Lanzini’s rehabilitation going extremely well and will be hoping he continues to progress in a quick fashion.
There have been suggestions in the past that he could make a return to action early into the next year, however, that will remain to be seen.
But, should he continue to recover from the horrendous injury he picked up before the biggest tournament in football, the fans could be welcoming him back on the London Stadium pitch in the near future.
