Manuel Pellegrini is confident things will improve

West Ham United have had a poor start to the Premier League season so far, despite having spent big on players this summer.

However, according to a report by The Independent, Manuel Pellegrini is confident his team will turn things around.

The Hammers are preparing to face Everton at Goodison Park on Sunday on the back of four successive defeats, but the Chilean is not concerned with how things have gone for his team so far.

When asked about if things would turn around for the London Stadium outfit, he stated: “In this moment I trust more than ever in what I do.

“It’s not the first time in my career I have had bad results and every job is tough.

“It’s not a good start but we are absolutely confident.”

The Verdict:

Things have not exactly gone to plan for West Ham since splashing out on a number of players over the course of the summer transfer window.

The Hammers have already seen results go against them, whilst some of their new additions are seemingly taking a little longer to adapt to the Premier League than they would have liked and the club have been hit with a few injury concerns as well.

However, Pellegrini has knowledge of the competition, having won it with Manchester City previously, and will know he will be able to turn things around for the London Stadium outfit fairly quickly.
