West Ham United could be in the market for a new striker this January.
Manuel Pellegrini is thought to be keen on adding firepower to his squad in the winter as he could be about to lose some of his current options.
Javier Hernandez has been linked with a move to Valencia – although the Hammers are keen to keep him, whilst Marko Arnuatovic is thought to have interest in China.
And, one man that Pellegrini is understood to be targeting is a man that has helped him win the Premier League title before.
The Bosnia international, who won the Premier League title with Manchester City twice – once with Pellegrini – is thought to be allowed to leave AS Roma this month.
However, West Ham will face competition from Everton for the 32-year-old as they are keen to solve their own striking issues.
Dzeko could be a great addition for West Ham and one that could thrive playing under Pellegrini again.
The Hammers are pushing for a place within European football and the Bosnian could be tempted by their ambition to join the side and help them achieve those aims.
Dzeko has been prolific for Roma this season and that will be exactly what the London Stadium outfit want to see if he does join up with them this January.
