Manuel Pellegrini has already reunited with Samir Nasri and Pablo Zabaleta at West Ham United, however, it appears that he is keen on bringing another former Manchester City man to the London Stadium.
The midfielder, who is now with Real Betis, played for the manager at the Etihad Stadium and won a title with the Chilean in charge.
However, it is believed that there could be a stumbling block in the West Ham manager’s efforts to reunite with him.
It is suggested the 31-year-old is only interested in a permanent switch but Pellegrini will only get him on loan, although he will keep tabs on the Spaniard’s movements over January.
With all the injuries that West Ham have had to their midfield, a move for Garcia could be something worth looking at.
The 31-year-old is vastly experienced and could be the type of player they need at the London Stadium to sit in front of the defence and break up the play.
However, with the player wanting a permanent move, it remains to be seen if he will reunite with the likes of Nasri and Zabaleta in east London.
