Manchester United haven’t lived up to expectations so far this season as they currently find themselves sitting in mid-table.
The Red Devils will have to improve on things if they want to challenge for a top four spot and the Premier League title after such an inconsistent start to the current campaign.
However, Manchester United will travel to Vicarage Road to face high-flyers Watford in their next Premier League encounter. The Hornets have enjoyed a perfect start to proceedings and got the better of Tottenham Hotspur last time out, so it won’t be easy for United.
Nevertheless, Jose Mourinho has some decisions to make in terms of team selection, with a couple of players possibly forcing their way into the side.
With that in mind, these TWO Manchester United men must start today…
Marcus Rashford was in sublime form during the international break as he managed to bag himself a goal in both of England’s fixtures.
However, the youngster has failed to nail down a permanent place in the side during the current campaign, with the likes of Alexis Sanchez, Jesse Lingard and Anthony Martial all fighting for a place.
But, having taken his international performances into consideration, Mourinho has no choice but to gift him a place in the starting lineup against Watford.
The full-back was one of England’s shining lights at the World Cup during the summer but he has struggled to featured in the first XI for United due to Luke Shaw’s rise in form.
Although, the latter did suffer a nasty head injury during the international break and will be sidelined for some time, so Ashley Young should now be able to make the left-back position his own once again.
Mourinho will also be looking ahead to their European trip in the week, with the Champions League betting showing United as heavy favourites for their visit to Young Boys.
