Since England's World Cup heroics, forward Marcus Rashford has scored three goals in England's four matches, as he looks in terrific form for The Three Lions.

The 20-year-old has started all four of those games, be it as a striker or slightly wider and has looked remarkably impressive.

However, the better he performs for England, the more that people are going to question why he seems to be out of favour under José Mourhinho at Man United. The player has only started two games for The Red Devils in the Premier League this season, as he has struggled for game time. Even when he does play, he will never feature in his preferred position of striker, rather he is deployed as a winger.

The finger, therefore, has to be pointed at the manager rather than the player, as he has shown that he is still in-form when playing for Gareth Southgate. It's not as if England's fixtures have been easy either, with two against Spain and one against World Cup finalists Croatia.

Man United legend Paul Scholes even recently said that even Lionel Messi would not play well under Mourinho at United at the moment, a damning inditement of the manager, but may well be true. Therefore, in order for Rashford to flourish at Old Trafford, Mourinho will have to either go or radically change his approach. If not, the 20-year-old should look elsewhere. Southgate has proven so far this year how to get the best from Rashford, and Mourinho should take some hints.
