The pressure is starting to mount quickly at Southampton and their 6-1 defeat to Manchester City will not have helped matters.
The Saints have won just one match in the Premier League this season and currently sit just outside the relegation zone.
And, it appears the board are starting to lose patience with Mark Hughes and a bad result against Watford could seal his fate.
Hughes saved the club from relegation last season, however, the task looks to be too much to handle for him this year.
Their inability to score has been a real problem so far, as they have only managed to score seven goals, ranking them with one of the lowest totals with just Huddersfield Town having netted fewer.
Should Southampton be able to pick up a victory against Watford, they will then have to face Fulham in what would be considered a must-win game, before Premier League encounters with Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur.
