Liverpool could see one player depart this summer as he looks to get regular minutes under his belt and try and force himself into Jurgen Klopp’s future plans.
Liverpool are thought to be allowing the Serbia international the chance to leave Anfield on a temporary basis this summer, following a successful loan spell with Cardiff City last season.
However, it appears that he has rejected the chance to re-join one of the Premier League’s new boys, as well as a possible move to Middlesbrough, with a move abroad the most likely option for him now.
CSKA Moscow is thought to be an option for the player, with Liverpool believed to be keen on that option, as they still rate the player highly and feel he will benefit more with his development, should he get playing time.
Grujic is a talented midfielder, however, it appears a loan move is going to be best for him to get regular minutes and the chance to impress.
Klopp is believed to think highly of the 22-year-old and a move to Russia could do wonders for his development as he will be exposed to competitive football and could get a number of matches under his belt.
However, it could be suggested that he would have been able to get more out of heading on loan to a side in England, as he would be able to learn the game in the country at first-hand, whilst Liverpool would also be able to keep a closer eye on his progress.
