Given Everton’s inconsistent form as of late, which included a number of positional changes from manager Marco Silva, we discussed where star man Richarlison is best suited on the pitch.
The 21-year-old signed at Goodison Park in the summer from Watford as a winger, but has been deployed as a striker for large parts of the season given the club’s dearth of players in that position. However, while it started brightly for the Brazilian in his new role, he has increasingly grown less impressive, and has subsequently been moved back onto the wing.
With that in mind, we asked you what Richarlison’s best position is, and these were the results:
The fans are obviously not in two minds over the player’s best position, with 86% agreeing that he is a winger. It is becoming more apparent that the manager agrees with the fans, as youngster Dominic Calvert-Lewin is getting more game time as a striker in recent weeks. The question for Everton is whether they stick with who they currently have, or go after a new striker this transfer window given the fact that Richarlison has clearly not been able to fill that void.
