The Spurs fans in the Transfer Tavern are hoping Daniel Levy will make some new signings this month and secure the long-term futures of Tottenham’s key players.
The January transfer window has been relatively quiet for Tottenham so far, and the resident Lilywhites in the tavern are beginning to wonder if the club are even remotely considering the possibility of bringing fresh talent to the club this month. Tottenham currently sit just three points outside the top-four in the Premier League, and the supporters are concerned that failure to improve the squad this month will result in them failing to qualify for the Champions League.
But judging by reports in the media, it appears that Pochettino and Levy are more concerned by securing the long-term future of players who are currently playing their trade in Tottenham white.
Although Alli has not managed to emulate his form from last season as of yet, the supporters on Twitter are delighted by the news that the club will offer him a new deal before the end of the season.
Here’s what the Spurs faithful had to say in response to Alli’s contract update…
Let's hope John Cross is spot on this time

You see this, if correct, is so much better than some random signing.
