‘Masterclass by these two under Sarri’ – Chelsea fans want 24-year-old back at Stamford Bridge

The Chelsea fans in the Transfer Tavern are hoping to see a few on-loan players return to Stamford Bridge this summer. Chelsea’s loan army is filled with talent that has impressed over the last year or so, and it’s fair to say that at least a few of them could do a job in London.

That’s certainly the case of Michy Batshuayi.

After a relatively uneventful spell at Stamford Bridge, Batshuaiyi was shipped off to Borussia Dortmund in January, and he impressed. He scored 7 goals in 10 league games, and he was clearly progressing as a player.

Conversely, the Blues have struggled going forward – particularly with Alvaro Morata lacking the required firepower in the attack.

When Michy Batshuayi revealed on Twitter just how excited he was to be back with Chelsea man Eden Hazard whilst training with Belgium, you can bet that the Stamford Bridge faithful were quick to respond.

It would seem as though public opinion has done a complete 180 on Batshuayi, and now, fans appear to be desperate for him to return.

Indeed, some are pointing towards Maurizio Sarri – who is rumoured to be the potential next Chelsea manager – as the man that will bring the best out of him if he returns.

Take a look at what they’ve had to say below…
