Mauricio Pochettino prepared to offload a number of players

Tottenham Hotspur will want to make a number of improvements to their squad, which could also see them offload a number of their stars as well.

According to a report by The Sun, Mauricio Pochettino is desperate to freshen up the squad in January, after they failed to make a single addition in the summer.

And, it appears that four men are ready to have their Spurs careers ended by the Argentine as he looks to bring the changes.

Mousa Dembele is thought to be one of his main priorities this winter as the midfielder’s current contract runs out in the summer and looks likely to leave on a free transfer, should he not be sold in January.

It is also understood that Victor Wanyama could be offloaded as well as he struggles to get back into the first-team after a spell out injured.

Unsurprisingly, Georges-Kevin Nkoudou and Vincent Janssen are also facing the chop as Pochettino is willing to listen to offers for the failed duo.

The Verdict:

It hardly comes as a surprise that Tottenham could be prepared to offload the four mentioned as they look to make changes to their squad.

Dembele looks certain to leave, whether it be in the winter or the summer, and the club should look to do all they can to get a fee for him, rather than lose the Belgium international on a free.

Wanyama appears to have joined Nkoudou and Janssen as a fringe member of the squad, especially with the way Eric Dier and Harry Winks have been playing, so it is likely that he will be shifted on in the future.
