Mauricio Pochettino is keen to reunite with one of his former players at Tottenham Hotspur as contract talks continue to be drawn out.
The pair were together at Southampton and it is understood that Pochettino wants to bring the 23-year-old to north London.
The full-back, who has just forced himself back into first-team contention at Manchester United and England, is thought to be holding out on a new deal from the Red Devils, who are keen not to lose him for nothing.
However, it is believed that he could be set to sign a new contract and remain at Old Trafford, should he be given assurances of his future with the Premier League giants.
Still, at just 23-years-old, Shaw still has plenty of time to develop even further and solidify himself as one of the best left-backs in the country.
He has struggled during his time at Manchester United and there were suggestions that he could look to quit the Red Devils, however, he has started to show signs of why he was signed from Southampton in the first place.
Tottenham would love to have the £13.5million-rated defender with them, as per Transfermarkt, however, it could be a difficult move for Pochettino to be reunited with his former player.
