Another forward closing in on a move to east London is Stoke City’s Marko Arnautovic, with Sky Sports News reporter Bryan Swanson claiming the Austrian is set to have a medical before discussing personal terms.
The two Premier League rivals have supposedly agreed a a £24m fee for the winger as Slaven Bilic looks to build a side capable of mounting a charge for the European places, having finished 11th in their first season in Stratford.
Premier League experience has been the target for the Hammers this summer and the 28-year-old certainly brings that with 22 goals in 125 top flight appearances for the Potters.
