Michail Antonio set to complete £15M switch to Crystal Palace

Crystal Palace are keen to make a number of additions this summer as they look to improve on last season’s Premier League campaign.

The Eagles spent the majority of their time near the bottom of the league and looked destined for Championship football at one point, however, Roy Hodgson managed to get the best out of his players at crucial times.

Wilfried Zaha stood out for the Selhurst Park outfit and the former England manager is keen to add competition, as well as depth and strength, to his squad as he looks to take the side further up the league table.

According to a report in the Daily Mirror, Hodgson is keen on bringing West Ham United’s Michail Antonio and it is believed that he could be set to make a switch for £15million.

The Hammers, who have had an extremely busy and expensive transfer window, are thought to need to balance the books now and could be prepared to offload the versatile player.

The Verdict:

Antonio would be a solid acquisition for Crystal Palace this summer as they look to bolster their attacking options.

Andros Townsend has been linked away with a move back to Newcastle United, whilst West Ham’s need to sell could make a deal for the 28-year-old easier to complete.
