But, the 60-year-old was handed a big setback on the transfer front recently, as according to Birmingham Live, Middlesbrough target Yannick Bolasie is unlikely to drop down to the Championship.

Middlesbrough have registered an interest in the winger, but the Congo international’s initial response was that he didn’t fancy sacrificing top-flight football.
Boro were desperate to bring the 29-year-old in as a replacement for Adama Traore this season, but it now looks as if they’ll have to search elsewhere.
So, it looks as if the Everton man will either move abroad if a suitable offer comes in or fight for his place at Goodison Park under Marco Silva.
Yannick Bolasie will need to seek a move away this summer as he won’t be able to break into the first team this season, with the Toffees signing a couple of wingers during the summer transfer window.
Middlesbrough will be gutted that they look like missing out on Yannick Bolasie as he would have been drafted in as a direct replacement for Adama Traore.
But, with the Congo international seemingly not wanting to drop down to the Championship, Tony Pulis will have to turn his attentions elsewhere.
