There is drama here in the Football Transfer Tavern as the Daily Mail claim that unsettled Manchester City midfielder Samir Nasri is looking for a way out of the club and Paris Saint Germain could be set to pounce.
Nasri of course made the controversial move to City from Arsenal and certainly got some stick for it. Despite all the hassle he went through to leave the Gunners he has never really lit things up at City and now could well be on the move again.
Roberto Mancini is ready for a summer shake up and in order to make room for new players he is willing to get rid of the deadwood in which Nasri is a prime candidate. PSG are currently managed by Carlo Ancelotti who is a fan of the player not to mention sporting director Leonardo at the mega-rich club and has already suffered from a failed attempt to sign the player in 2011.
After the complete breakdown in relations between Mancini and Nasri the player is more than open to a move and thinks that the French capital could not only provide a great challenge but the opportunity for first team football.
Of course for most clubs the wages that Nasri is currently on would be astronomical – around £170,000 per week not to mention the £24 million fee that City will be looking to recoup, yet for PSG this is simply pocket money.
