The Man Utd fans in the Transfer Tavern have been on edge all week in anticipation of a last-minute transfer…
With the Chinese window not set to close for another week, the likes of Wayne Rooney and Ashley Young have consistently been touted with moves to the Chinese Super League – with both players not currently in the plans of Jose Mourinho.
However, in terms of the latter, it seems that the transfer saga surrounding Ashley Young is far from over.
As per Sky Sports News on Twitter, Chinese outfit Shandong Luneng are still interested in Ashley Young – with the club seemingly still hopeful of securing a deal before Tuesday’s deadline.

It has certainly been a long winded saga surrounding Young, with the Englishman rarely a feature for Jose Mourinho. He has only made 2 Premier League starts this season, and it seems likely that if he wants to leave the club – Mourinho would allow it.
So far, though, a deal has not come to pass – but with the vast funds available to Chinese sides, anything could happen between now and Tuesday.
